Holy Spirit Parish at 608 Farragut Street, Millvale, PA 15209 US - Home

17th Sunday in Ordinary Time

Fr Dan has been rewarded with another six year term as the Pastor of Holy Spirit Parish.  Keep him in your prayers as he continues to lead our Parish forward.

We would also like to congratulate him on being installed this Sunday July 20th as the Pastor of St Nicholas Parish here in Millvale. 


Plans are under way for the parish picnic held at the Millvale Riverfront Park on Sunday August 17th. Save the date, so you will not miss this parish celebration.

Planning committee meeting will be held July 29th at 6pm in the cafeteria.

The Annual Parish Raffle is well underway.  If you have not picked up your tickets they are in the process of being delivered for you to purchase and sell as many as you can to family, friends and co-workers.  Additional tickets are always available by calling the parish office.

We are also in need of volunteers to sell tickets at the community locations.  If you are able to help contact the Parish Office at 412-821-4424

Fundraising/ Stewardship Meeting

FUNDRAISING/STEWARDSHIP COMMITTEE has been tasked to raise funds to help pay the Parish bills. Please share your talents (set-up, brainstorming, clean-up, and more) with this committee to support your parish.

The fundraising committee will meet Tuesday, August 5th  at 6pm in the cafeteria.  We will discuss the Cash Bash scheduled for October 11th along with the Parich Picnic/Raffle Tickets.

CCD Registration 2014 - 2015

 It is that time of year again, Religious Education classes, CCD, will start in September. Registration packets are in the process of being mailed.

Registration of New families and First Grade students are asked to call Elaine Magill at (412) 821-2099 for information and registration forms.

As always, teachers, teacher’s aides and substitutes are needed to help with the catechetical program. You may also “Team Teach” with another person and share in the presentation and planning of lessons. There are many areas in which aides can assist in the classroom and office. Please consider this opportunity to part of the Religious Education Program with our children at Holy Spirit Parish. Books, training and support are provided.
