BISHOP ZUBIK BLESSES NEW ALTAR OF SACRIFICE
This past Sunday Bishop Zubik honored Holy Spirit Parish in joining us at the 10am Mass to dedicate our New Altar of Sacrifice. The Altar was donated by the Winkler Family in honor of Eileen Winkler.
HOLY SPIRIT PARISH MOTHER’S DAY BREAKFAST
Sponsored by the HSP Ushers will be on Sun., May 13 from 8-11:30am in HSP cafeteria. All mothers receive a free breakfast! Cost: Adults $6, children 6-12 years old $3, and children under 6 are free. See you all there.

It’s that time of the year again. Order forms are at the entrances of the church. Deadline for placing orders is Sun., May 13. Please place your order form in the box marked flower order forms. All plants must be picked up Sat., May 19 from 2-5 pm or Sun., May 20 from 8-11 am at the church. Only cash payment will be accepted. The plants are again being provided by Pisarcik Greenhouse (Valencia)

FEAST OF THE ASCENSION
This Thursday, May 17, we celebrate another Easter event: when our Lord Ascended into Heaven, in full view of many of His disciples. It is the physical end of His earthly ministry. We celebrate this event on the 40th day after His Resurrection. It marks the beginning of the ten days of waiting for the descent of the Holy Spirit, which Jesus promised to send, and which we celebrate on Pentecost Sunday. The Ascension is a HOLY DAY OF OBLIGATION. You will have three opportunities to attend Mass at our Parishes: SNP, Wed., May 16, at 7 pm, & Thurs, May 17, at 8 am; & HSP, Thurs, May 17, at 7 pm
